Sunrise Noodle House Reviews
Clean place, spacious, parking was easy, no wait for us on a Sunday afternoon. I'd come back for their bun bo hue. Kids enjoyed their pho. Hainan chicken was refreshing. Enjoyed this place because we all had different tastes for lunch and everyone left happy and craving satisfied. Clean bathroom as well!
Saw this place on FB & decided to give it a try because my husband is a big fan of Hainan chicken. SERVICE: it took us a while to get seated when the restaurant only had 2 parties (not busy). They were friendly overall. When I did the yelp check-in for the free soda (even after I showed them the deal), they still charged me on the bill and had to explain it to them. It was easily taken off the bill, but not sure what the confusion was. FOOD: I ordered all the meats for pho ($12.95) & 1 Hainan Chicken ($13). The Hainan chicken came with everything you see in the menu picture. But let me tell you, the portion size is SMALL, definitely less meat than the other Hainan chicken restaurants but it was still pretty good. The pho had a lot of meat but the noodles were stuck together a bit. Overall, it was pretty good for the first time. PARKING: there is front of the restaurant street parking but there is parking spaces in the back of the restaurant. Overall, I'd say come here to try it out yourself but not memorable for us to come back again for us.
So good! We went on a week day, no waiting. Food was so good. Another place I look forward to returning to. A plus: Clean bathroom
I wanted to try a new noodle place near me, and I saw that Sunrise Noodle House was super clean and had been open for a while. I like that the restaurant has a combination of pho, wonton noodles, Hainan chicken rice, and a mix of Cantonese/Vietnamese/Chiu Chow dishes, so I came here with my family for brunch. We ended up sharing a wonton noodle soup, combo pho which contained various cuts of beef, turnip cake with egg, and Hainan chicken rice. The food came fairly quickly. We also had complimentary cold barley tea. The pho was solid, comparable to other pho in the area. I loved the wonton noodles. The wontons had juicy shrimp, and I loved the crispy scallions in the broth. The turnip cake with egg was very good, and I dipped it in Sriracha sauce. The Hainan chicken rice was similar to others in the area.
Free parking lot in back. New establishment, remodeled, clean and spacious inside. Currently featuring $11.95 pho (vs $15). Also sells bun Bo Que, mi, hu tieu. Ordered chicken mi soup and pho tai. The pho tai was pretty good, the noodles were not very chewy like I like them, but also not too soft, kind of in between. The soup was ok. The mi was ok, the chicken was sliced. No extra utensils at the table, only napkin dispenser and condiments. Came during dinner time, we were the only ones there. Staff is very nice. I don't like that if you need water refills, they take your glass to the back to refill. This causes confusion as to which glass belongs to each person at the table when they carry multiple glasses. I love my friends and family but would rather drink my own glass. Good deal for when they still have the $11.95 pho. Not sure how long that will be.
Very clean establishment along with clean refreshing food! My gf recommended the chicken pho and they have special for pho tai along with other pho options for limited time. Also had egg rolls and pan friend dumplings. The service is really sweet! Will be back again.
4 stars Mom and I were in the neighborhood and decided to have dinner here. And I thought what we got was satisfying on such a cold night. This is what we got: Bun Bo Hue ($14): spicy beef rice noodle soup. It wasn't spicy enough, a tad too salty for me, lacked lemongrass, and the ligaments in the sliced beef as well as the pig feet was not tender. Noodles was still edible. 3/5 stars Combination flat rice noodles ($14): came with 2 shrimps, couple of fish balls, fish cake, and shredded chicken. This is the best flat rice noodle soup I've had in a long time! The soup was savory and not too rich. The toppings and the soup meshed well together. 4.5/5 stars Service was quick and friendly. Interior was spacious and clean. Free parking in the back. This is completely not the restaurants fault, but a customer at the restaurant had their car broken into while parked in the lot. His back car windows were smashed and a police officer was there inspecting the damage. So, I'm letting all my fellow Yelpers know not to leave anything valuable when parked here.
My very good friend told me about Sunrise Noodle House that had opened fairly recently and wanted to take me there for lunch. What a great call on his part! You can tell a lot about a restaurant by how clean the bathrooms are. You could eat inside these bathrooms because they are just that clean! We each ordered a different noodle dish so we could share a bite of each other's lunch! The broth was flavorful, crisp, and fresh! I could drink the broth in a teacup and be happy all day long. The chicken was delicious, perfectly cooked, and moist. I enjoyed how friendly the staff treated us. While I don't speak Cantonese like my friend, I was still able to communicate effectively with the staff. Thankfully they are way smarter than me and learned English; I need to learn Cantonese! I will definitely be back to Sunrise Noodle House!
